10 days of planning and being sneaky all pay off when I pull off another surprise on Jordana. Originally we were planning to leave Key West on Sunday and start our drive north through Florida. The big surprise took place on Saturday and worked out perfectly. After the surprise I also told Jordana I extended our stay till Thursday, because I snagged us a one night stay at Bahia Honda State Park.
It was a nice day and prior to this exciting moment and we had a great time at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden. We saw some butterflies, turtles and some amazing greenery. They even had a nice playground for the kiddos to play on. It’s the only frost-free, sub-tropical, natural conservation habitat, native plant botanical garden in the continental United States. Definitely something to check out while in Key West.
