We were couped up in the house most of the day due to the oppressive heat and humidity. I had just returned from dumping the RV tanks and was sweating my butt off when Jordana came out of the house and said let’s go to the beach. I said, let’s do it and off we went. What a great night. Our off road permit is paying for itself every time we go.
Some big things happened during this adventure. Odin went under ocean waves at Democrat Point. He is becoming more and more comfortable in the ocean and increasingly fearless. It’s amazing how much he wants to do what his big sister, Aurelia, does. After watching her go under waves with me, he immediately cried out, “ME TOO, ME TOO!!” The first one was a shock for him, but we did about 4 more and he got used to the feeling.
After some ocean time we drove around to the bay side and played in the nice calm water. It was a nice end to a fun evening adventure and the water felt so refreshing.
To Quote John Muir – “Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.”
