After a long travel day to the Pigeon Forge KOA we took some time on our off day to visit the Great Smoky Mountains and the Sugarland Visitor Center. The mountains are breathtaking and the small chunk of the park we saw was gorgeous. We took a short hike to Cataract Falls and enjoyed the serenity of the tumbling brook. We plan to come back to the Smokies to spend more time exploring and camping within the park.
The next day we are back on the road with another long drive to Yemassee, SC to the KOA where we will be staying for one night. A few more long drives to make our reservation down in the Florida Keys.
